About Us
In 2019 we decided to ditch the snow and suburbs of Colorado, USA for a new life in Central America. The beach was calling! Potrero, Costa Rica captured our hearts and souls during a family vacation and we started making plans to make it our home. New language, new culture, new school, and new experiences! We opened Seeking Sand at the end of 2020 with a desire to share this beautiful country with people from all over the world.
Marty works in technology and is master of all things maintenance and tech around Seeking Sand. LeAnn is passionate about holistic wellness and green living. She is master of cleaning and grounds care at Seeking Sand. Asher is a swimming wiz and ukulele strumming dog lover with a passion for theater. Camble is a budding artist who loves the ocean and reading. You will see both of the kids helping maintain our beautiful garden and pool. Also part of the family are Jagr, our Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and our two cats; Quinn and Piper. They will be happy to accept belly rubs and attention.
